LAM Geotechnics is an approved Works Bureau Group 2 contractor and is eligible to take on ground investigation contracts of any size. We are also an approved contractor for Hong Kong Housing Authority, Buildings Department, and MTRC. 

We own and operate a fleet of drill rigs of varying sizes and capabilities and are one of three GI contractors in Hong Kong that maintain and operate our own fleet of marine barges. In recent years, we made a sizable investment in our equipment by acquiring the latest CPT trucks and marine subsea CPT machines from Europe to keep up with the latest technological advancements in ground investigation. 

We own and operate a warehouse and workshop to maintain our drill rigs and machinery to ensure the highest operating efficiency. Our team of dedicated staff frequently upgrade our rigs to ensure minimal disruption during operation.  

For specialized tests, we choose to only work with trusted partners to ensure the high quality and integrity of the work. For example, we conducted the majority, if not all, of all hydro-fracturing tests in Hong Kong and we choose to partner with MeSy in Germany to conduct these tests for their prudent methods and accurate results. 

Our drillers have an average tenure of 20 years with LAM Geotechnics. We take pride in our drillers’ ability to obtain high-quality samples and test results under tight deadlines and challenging conditions. We are the preferred contractor when the site is highly technical and challenging. 

Our Geologist have over 15 years of tenure in the field. Our geologists are trained to quickly and accurately review and log the soil samples extracted by our drillers. They have extensive experience working with consultants and engineers and are able to systematically resolve problems as they arise. Our team of Project Managers and Engineers are equally experienced and qualified and have a long standing record of managing contract with the most stringent requirements and standards. They have experience in handling mega-scale projects and know-how to minimize cost for our clients and develop realistic yet speedy program for work completion. 

We have made huge investments in advanced cloud computing systems by integrating SAP into our business. We completely revolutionized our workflow by replacing paper-and-pen processes with advanced electronic systems that has cloud computing capabilities. Safety record is also at the forefront of our mind. We have been impeccable in our safety record and are qualified to bid on any sort of government or private development projects even with the most stringent safety record requirements.
