Location and Project
The works mainly comprise ground investigation within the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), including Area 39 and Teaching Buildings under various contracts. The works were commenced in September 2023 and took about three months to complete each contract.
Scope of Works
The ground investigation includes rotary drilling, trial pitting, soil and rock sampling. To facilitate the geotechnical investigation, timber scaffolding and steel ladder access were deployed in the project. Besides the geotechnical investigation, non-destructive underground utilities survey and laboratory testing are included in the scope.
