The works mainly comprise ground investigation for the airport third runway associated works, concourse and infrastructures. The works were commenced in February 2020 and took about 13 months to complete.
Scope of Works
The ground investigation work includes rotary drilling and in-situ testing. Drillholes were extended to a maximum depth of 130m. In-situ testing including Acoustic Televiewers, Permeability, Vane Shear and Pressuremeter tests were carried out.
