The works mainly comprise ground investigation for the relocation works of Sha Tin sewage treatment plants to cavern. The works were commenced in December 2019 and March 2024 which took about 1 month and 2 months respectively to complete.
Scope of Works
The ground investigation work includes rotary drilling and in-situ testing. Drillholes were extended to a maximum depth of 100m. In-situ testing including Acoustic Televiewers, Permeability, Vane Shear and Packer tests were carried out.
